Kacey Fitzpatrick is an award-winning green building professional, providing architectural design and construction of custom homes and remodels since 1994 through her company Avalon Enterprises Inc. Kacey is Founder and Executive Director of GreenTown Los Altos, an environmental nonprofit formed in 2007 and focused on educating people about climate change and mobilizing behavior change at the individual, household, small business and institutional levels in Los Altos and surrounding communities.
Kacey has designed and built a variety of custom homes and remodels in Silicon Valley; has won over 40 local and national awards for design; and was twice named a Top 50 Women Owned Business in Silicon Valley. In addition, Kacey designed and built one of the greenest homes in California, with certification pending for LEED Platinum. Kacey is a knowledgeable advocate regarding sustainability, smart growth, green building, waste, water and energy issues. Her personal interests include cooking, gardening, wine, reading, bicycling and the outdoors. Kacey’s five-year-old son, Kael, offers her daily inspiration for her work to create a sustainable future today.
