Celebrate the St. Nicholas Tree Planting Project!
Fierce windstorms of March 2023 took down many Eucalyptus trees on the St. Nicholas school property. GreenTown as part of its 500 Trees campaign helped replace trees scattered on the hillside. Help us celebrate this accomplishment

About the Event
This has been a long project, starting after the fierce windstorms of March 2023 that took down many Eucalyptus trees on the school property. GreenTown as part of its 500 Trees campaign offered to plant replacement trees scattered on the hillside above the corner of El Monte Road and Voorhees Drive and understory plants along the steep section of the property above El Monte Road. Planting started in March 2024 and was completed this year.
GreenTown and the students enjoyed the journey, there were proud moments, some setbacks and lessons learned, and at the end a sense of accomplishment. Come learn about the journey and celebrate with us.
