About the Event
As you’ve been spending more time at home during this global pandemic, you may have come across items that need to be recycled or shredded. This is a great opportunity to make more space in your home for the things that matter more to you. Pack up those unwanted items and bring them to Union Church. Someone will assist you with unloading your e-waste and shredding items.
E-waste items may include: monitors, TVs, computers, laptops, cell phones, telecom equipment, wire/cable, PC boards, stereo components and video game players, computer mice, keyboards, printers, fax & copy machines, toner and ink cartridges, stereo equipment, VCRs, DVD/CD/MP3 players, microwave ovens and small appliances.
Shredding items may include: financial records, other important out-dated papers, credit cards, CDs and DVDs and computer hard drives.
Hazardous waste (fluorescent lights, alkaline batteries, propane tanks, helium tanks, chemical storage containers or any items with freon or other gas) will NOT be accepted.
