About the Event
Be part of the solution to water pollution! Join volunteers on National River Cleanup Day to help keep Permanente Creek clean, healthy and beautiful. We remove debris from the creekbed, sort and weigh the material and report results to the Santa Clara County-wide effort coordinated by the Valley Water District.
Wear comfortable sturdy shoes. Bring your reusable water bottle (and something to carry it in), gloves, and a bucket if you like. Cleanup supplies like bags and grabbers are provided by Valley Water.
