About the Event
Join GreenTown Los Altos on a 16-mile night bike ride to watch the sun set at Bay Lands. We start at Peet's in Los Altos, take Los Altos Avenue into Palo Alto, cross 101 using the new overpass and arrive at Bay Lands to enjoy sunset at exactly 8:32. We ride back to Los Altos taking the Stevens Creek Trail as it gets dark, so make sure your lights work! This is a fun ride and last year was too hot, but we saw a very pretty sunset.
Registration starts at 7:00 pm and the ride starts at 7:30.
Wear a helmet, and one more time - make sure your lights work! This ride is slow paced, family-friendly and safe. GreenTown provides a leader and a sweeper, but there is always some inherent risk in riding a bike and by joining this ride you understand and accept that risk.
We bike home through Mountain View.
