About the Event
The will have a fun workday on Sunday, April 6th, 8/10, 3:00 - 5:00PM for some TLC and maintenance at the Woodland library garden. We need volunteers to help with general upkeep. We’re also excited to announce we got the green light to start working on the space behind Woodland Library's drought-tolerant demonstration garden. This empty space will be transformed with our vision to transform it into a . This project will incorporate key concepts such as urban gardening, sustainability, carbon sequestration, citizen science, outdoor teaching spaces, community gardening, inclusiveness, drought tolerance, and pollinator and bird conservation. We will be collaborating with our native plants specialist, Nikki Hanson, and we’ll begin work in the Fall. If you’re interested in helping, please contact Glenda Chang at
